Cheshire Wildlife Trust is a charity dedicated to preserving Cheshire's plants, animals and wild places for all to enjoy, both now and in the future.
Cheshire Wildlife Trust is the region's leading environmental conservation organisation, working on all aspects of nature and wildlife protection.
The Trust works in partnership with the county and local authorities, with other conservation bodies, with schools and other educational establishments, with naturalists, with landowners and with the general public to conserve our natural heritage.Already, our work has helped secure the future of many precious habitats and species, enabling them to thrive again.
We manage 45 nature reserves across Cheshire East, Cheshire West and Chester, Halton, Stockport, Tameside, Trafford, Warrington and Wirral. Our ground-breaking Conservation Grazing Scheme with native-breed cattle is helping to bring wildlife back to the wider countryside as part of our ‘Living Landscapes’ project.
We stand up for wildlife in local communities and provide opportunities for people of all ages to discover the natural world through events, volunteering and outreach projects.
